Elle & Wella Event

Hey guys! So there is an amazing event going on in LA on May 29th that I wanted to tell you all about. If you are in the area, I would LOVE to meet you and have some girl time! Elle is partnering with Wella and hosting a salon night in Glendale at the Martier Salon. I am so excited to get a consultation on my hair. One thing I really love, is when experts give me advice and tips. We can all fall into a rut when it comes to our hair…am I right?? This is a great way to have an outside source let you know what they think would look great on you! I am a trim kind of gal…not so much a risk taker! Also, there will be a DJ, prosecco (my fav), light bits and desserts. I also heard there will be some goodies to take home. I am always down to relax a little, chat, and talk beauty. Let me know if you are planning on coming! It is free to come, just make sure you RSVP!

Recap: Style 20/20 Event

I had a great time at the Style 20/20 event. I got a fresh perspective on what style is from experts. It was incredible hearing from men and women who work with Sephora, Loreal, and many more amazing companies. Something that I took away was to view style as something that is classic and timeless. Spend your money on great pieces that won’t go out of style in two months, and take care of what you have. Your style should represent who you are, and you should feel confident in what you wear. One of the main reasons we care about what we wear is because it has the power to give us so much confidence in ourselves. Use that to your advantage, and really own what you are wearing.

At the end of the day we filmed a clip of how we define style, so when I get that sent to me I will share it with you all! Below is a video that really captures the day. Thank you to Style 20/20 for having me, I had a blast!

Style 20/20 Contest

The event I am attending this coming week is giving away free tickets and a gift bag that includes product from L’Oreal, Avene, Sephora and a style package from Style 2020!

To enter all you have to do is take a photo of how they define style and use the hashtag #style2020

Good Luck!

Here are some awesome style tips to incorporate into your own wardrobe!

Sunday Fashion Brunch

On Sunday I attended a Fashion Brunch at Beso put on by Bri Seeley and Maile PR. We sipped mimosas and had some light bites. Thanks to everyone who sponsored the event and made it possible. Sole Society, Caress, and LeSportsac, you are all amazing! We were so lucky to leave with great goodies that will soon make an appearance on my YouTube channel. Any excuse to get together and talk fashion is a good time to me!IMG_2790picisto-20140407185548-958280picisto-20140407185939-489622

SoCal Blogger Society Brunch

Here are some pictures from last weeks blogger brunch I attended. It was held in Santa Monica at Areal Restaurant. It was great meeting all types of bloggers who all live in southern California. The food was delicious, from bacon wrapped dates to carrot cake…oh my gosh it was amazing (I took some cake to go)! We also got hooked up with some goodies. At the end of the post I show what was inside of that massive box. Thanks to SoCal Blogger Society and LA Brunchers for making this event possible!

^These products look amazing! I can’t wait to try them out! Huge thanks to Taya Beauty!^

Trina Turk Event

Last Thursday I attended an event at the Trina Turk boutique in West Hollywood hosted by Kelly, of the blog Kelly Golightly. The store was absolutely beautiful. Someone working there told me the goal of the design was to feel like you are shopping through champagne. How beyond cool is that? I really need those hanging bubbles in my future house! All of the new spring clothes were gorgeous. The bright printed pieces made me want to be poolside in Palm Springs! We got there sort of early so we were able to shop aound without any crowds. I got a gorgeous name tag cuff which will definitely be in an upcoming outfit post. Huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
