Next up in my gift guide series is The Hostess! You all know I love home decor. Moving into our first home is what really kickstarted it. I find so much joy browsing around HomeGoods or searching online for the perfect rug. So if you know someone who loves throwing a party or just enjoys her home, I’ve got some amazing finds for you! Can you believe it’s December?? I’m in full on holiday mode! Happy shopping!
Happy Black Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I woke up so tired from all the food haha. Andrew and I are going to take on the crowds this afternoon to knock some Christmas shopping off the list. I also need to pick up some Christmas decorations. I’ve listed some sales I think are amazing today, and they are all online so you don’t even need to leave the house!
Sephora is having $10 deals on some AMAZING products!
Up next in my series of gift guides is my personal favorite (see gift guide #1 here). I’m pretty much obsessed with office supplies. I’m currently working on updating my office and making it a place where I can be inspired. And you clearly see my color preference here. If you know someone who loves creating a pretty workspace, then here are some gift ideas for you. Or if that person is you, then send this list along to your parents, spouse or anyone else needing some gift ideas for you! In an ideal world, I’d snap my fingers and this entire list would appear magically beside me! (Can you even handle that mouse pad?!)
(SALE ALERT: Starting black Friday – Jan. 1st, the entire Miranda Frye site will be 25% percent off with code MFSEASON! Don’t miss out!)
Something I have been loving lately are midi dresses. For some reason I never used to wear them, but I find them to be extremely comfortable and work for many occasions. Especially black ones. You can add a jacket, some jewelry, and you look totally put together. Especially with the holidays coming up, this style of dress would be perfect for a work party, Christmas Eve, or just a night out.
How is Thanksgiving in a few days?? Are you all ready? Good grief the holidays snuck up on me this year. My parents are going to be out of town so we’ll be spending the day with Andrew’s family. Usually we flip flop between our parents house’s because they both live in the same town. Are any of you hosting Thanksgiving this year? I think once Andrew and I have our house fulling furnished I’ll want to have it here. I’m a sucker for pretty tablescapes! I also wanted to remind you that I’ll be doing multiple gift guides this year so make sure to check back for more! And on Thanksgiving I’l have a list of sales you won’t want to miss! Have a great day!
It is officially time to start holiday shopping! I am going to be posting a series of gift guides to help you through this holiday season. I’m starting off with stocking stuffers. These are smaller items that are fine to gift alone or add to any other gift. Can I put these on my wish list as well?! Also I’ll have a post on Black Friday with all the great deals going on so don’t miss out on that! Happy Shopping!
Ahhh yes colder weather. This morning I took these pictures I was actually freezing. Finally! I’m loving layering different textures and patterns. It adds some interest to your outfit, and as long as the colors complement each other have fun with it. This oversized sweater is an easy piece to throw on top of anything. It is super chunky which is why I love it! This scarf is super chunky too. AND my booties are. (I just drank an energy drink…)
If you guys saw my last Haul video, then you probably remember a few of these pieces. These boots in particular have become an absolute favorite. I got them for a website called ifchic.com. The site has a mix of handpicked items from really great designers. Also, they have a program called #ifchic24 where you can earn coins to use towards your purchases. Each coin equals $1 and every day you visit the site you earn 6 coins. So you have the potential to earn $180 each month. The great thing is that on the 24th of every month you can use all of your coins towards your purchase. Talk about a huge discount! Definitely check out their beautiful pieces, I listed a few of my current lusts on the site below!
Are you guys loving Fall? I honestly can’t believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner. What the heck? I looked at the calendar today and realized all I need to get done!! Decorating a house has definitely taken over my life and I love it. I’ll have some pictures up soon. We have done so much lately, I feel like everything is falling into place. If you want to see some pictures make sure to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (kendraatkins) for more updates!
I am all about boots this fall! From ankle, to wedge to over-the-knee, they are the perfect addition to any look. Since I usually find my favorites shoes from Nordstrom, I rounded up my favorites for you guys. I really do feel like you can never have enough! I especially love black leather ankle booties. They give any outfit a little edge. I also am really into suede boots this year. Nude ones add a feminine touch and can go well with a lot of colors. I just bought those over-the-knee black boots and am in love! Let me know what style boot you like to wear the most! 1-Kristin Cavallari
I’m still in shock that it’s October. This year is flying by! Yet, as far as the weather goes, it still feels like summer! Since I am so ready for long sleeves and booties, I am going to power through the heat to show off some of my favorites with you! I hope you guys are all having a great week so far. I am going to the pumpkin patch this weekend and I can’t wait! I’ll be sure to take some pictures!
I know it’s still February, well almost March, but I’m actually ready for summer. I am fully aware I am always saying how much I love winter. But the other day I looked in the mirror and the person looking back at me looked like a vampire. Kidding, but I am that pale. I am all for that porcelain skin, but I mean, I need some color stat. A few days after I realized how translucent I was, our weather suddenly heated up and truly felt like summer. I laid out in the sun for a few days to soak up all the vitamin D I could and it felt amazing. I even got a little bit of color! It didn’t last long though, it started pouring last night. Anyways, that little tease made me super excited for the summer and I even pulled out some summer clothes last night. I organized all my bathing suits too which made me more motivated to get in shape. Little tip for you guys. Put on a bathing suit tonight. It will give you that kick in the butt to get in the gym. So here are some pieces that I’m currently inspired by (some I own). I’m even going to play some country music right now. Drivin around song anyone? (On a side note: go watch #candidlynicole on youtube. The funniest thing ever, even Andrew loves it. There are clips on AOL Originals & the Candidly Nicole channel. Loove.)
Hi friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was packed with lots and lots of football. But I couldn’t be happier because the Seahawks won, which means I am going to Seattle on Saturday! I feel like Seattle is actually home to me. Is that weird considering Andrew and I only lived there for 4 months? I am so ready for the all the rain and all the food! I’m making a list of all my favorite places and will see how many we can get to. I may gain 20 pounds in one weekend. But so worth it! I’ve been dreaming of Piroshky Piroshky. It’s at Pike Place Market and is this little Russian bakery that serves up both sweet and savory foods. If you look at the website you might hate me, because you’ll want to go eat immediately. Oh man I got the beef and cheese one I think, and it was so decadent. Umm I just checked their site and you can get it shipped to you!! I may have to try that out once. I like how I’m going on and on about food and this is an outfit post. Can you tell I’m hungry right now? It’s lunch time. I hope you enjoy today’s post! Thanks so much for stopping by!
