Yay for the weekend! I hope you all had a great week. I felt like I was in a fog all week. I’m not sure why. But everything seemed to affect me more than it should have, and I didn’t have much drive. I guess some weeks are just like that.
I stumbled across Nordstrom last night and saw there are having a huge Winter clearance sale. There are a lot of purses, home accessories, shoes and clothing items that are highly discounted. I wanted to give you a heads up because it’s going on just through the weekend. I put together pieces to pick up that would transition into spring perfectly. I am so confused by the weather in California right now. It feels like summer and I’ve been in shorts all week, except it rained yesterday. Go figure. Let me know if you picked up anything during the Nordstrom sale! Have a great weekend!
I love that fedora, it would look so cute on vacation somewhere tropical! And I just started loving outfits that are more tomboy, so those adidas are calling my name! I’m also in desperate need of some basics. So those casual tops would be the perfect wardrobe addition!
So ever since I got this coat, I haven’t taken it off. Okay well occasionally. Andrew asked me last night, why do you always have that coat on? Because it’s cute and warm! If you are looking for a great trench that is warm for the winter, I’d highly recommend this one! I also have it in a dark green shade which is stunning. I kind of want to get it in black and grey now too. Yes the obsession is real! I’m also super into my thigh high boots. I think they add a nice edge to any outfit, and also warm up your legs! I hope you are all having a wonderful month so far. I am currently blasting the heater in an attempt to warm up my frozen fingers. I would never make it on the east coast. Major props to all of you who are actually in cold weather. Have a great day guys!
If you guys need some inspiration for Valentine’s Day, I am here for you! I have put together a casual outfit for you that would be perfect for a daytime date (the video below also has a more dressy look, which you can view HERE). I also wanted to show you some pictures from the spot Andrew and I had lunch. Myrtle Creek is a nursery in Fallbrook, North County San Diego, that offers an adorable lunch. All their food is farm to plate, so you know you are getting fresh ingredients. They also put your food inside a basket that you can take with you around the nursery to find a place to sit down and enjoy it. There are tables scattered throughout, so whether you choose a cafe style table, an upholstered bench, or a picnic table, I can bet you will enjoy your time there!
