I mean…I’m in love. Who knew how much you could feel like Snow White when you put on a tulle skirt and some red lipstick? I wanted to put together a look that would be a wow statement for Valentine’s Day. I kept the colors simplistic so the skirt could be the wow factor. This may be one of my favorite looks to post for you guys. It was such a feminine and girly outfit to wear. And definitely out of my comfort zone, but completely worth it! These past few days have been jammed packed shooting Valentine’s Day projects. I hope you all enjoy a fun new video I have coming soon! Make sure to check out my YouTube channel tonight so you don’t miss it! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great Thursday!
Hi friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was packed with lots and lots of football. But I couldn’t be happier because the Seahawks won, which means I am going to Seattle on Saturday! I feel like Seattle is actually home to me. Is that weird considering Andrew and I only lived there for 4 months? I am so ready for the all the rain and all the food! I’m making a list of all my favorite places and will see how many we can get to. I may gain 20 pounds in one weekend. But so worth it! I’ve been dreaming of Piroshky Piroshky. It’s at Pike Place Market and is this little Russian bakery that serves up both sweet and savory foods. If you look at the website you might hate me, because you’ll want to go eat immediately. Oh man I got the beef and cheese one I think, and it was so decadent. Umm I just checked their site and you can get it shipped to you!! I may have to try that out once. I like how I’m going on and on about food and this is an outfit post. Can you tell I’m hungry right now? It’s lunch time. I hope you enjoy today’s post! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Today I put together an outfit that is super warm, but also fashionable at the same time. I love layering different fabrics and textures to give a lived-in look. I usually stick to neutrals and add in accents of deeper tones like hunter green and navy blue. Starting off with basics like distressed pants and a chunky knit gives you the freedom to accessorize. Then you can throw on a textured coat, scarf and beanie to bundle up! Gold jewelry and a structured bag are always classic and will pull your entire outfit together. It has been pretty cold here lately, but still super sunny so I couldn’t forget a great pair of sunnies!
Merry almost Christmas! I feel like I have so much to do before Christmas, and it is practically here! I am so looking forward to seeing all my family. My niece and nephew will be here tonight and I am sooo happy. Do you have some big plans? I am trying to think of a great dessert for Christmas Eve but have zero ideas. If you have any great dessert recipe’s let me know in the comments! I hope you all enjoy today’s post and also your time with your friends and family this week!
Wednesday! We are halfway there guys! I’m super excited for this weekend because I am going to Disneyland with Andrew’s family for two days. I will definitely take some pictures to capture my weekend! I am a total Disney freak. Raise your hand if you are with me!! Let me think how to prove that to you… For starters I own the hidden Mickey’s handbook, used to have season passes, have been on every single ride a zillion times, and know all the secrets and shortcuts. My mom thinks Andrew and I are insane. So anyways, today’s outfit post is all about pairing basics together. Black and grey are staple colors that can work with every occasion. Here I paired some of my favorite pieces together in one outfit. Can we talk about these pants? They are from Fashion Nova and I have been wearing them everyday. You can dress them up or down, which makes them so versatile.
(fyi- I purchased my pieces in-store, so the selection online varies)
Nothing feels more like the holidays like a warm coat. I found this beautiful burgundy coat at H&M and knew I had to style an outfit around it. I like wearing one piece in a rich color, and pairing everything else around it. I chose these awesome pants that have a block of denim at the calf and a printed shirt that has a quilted feel to it. My trusty brown booties go with every outfit, so this one was no exception! It has finally cooled down in southern California and I couldn’t be happier. We are supposed to get rain tonight, but not nearly as much as other places right now. If you are in a blizzard or rain storm stay safe! I hope you all are having a great week!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. This week I am bringing you two holiday inspired outfits all from H&M. I love that you can find great gifts for everyones there. From your husband to your niece, you will definitely be able to find something super cute. For this outfit I wanted to use warm and cozy pieces in varying fabrics and patterns. This look is perfect for grabbing coffee with a friend, finishing your holiday shopping, or just watching a movie by the fireplace. Start your look off with a great pair of jeans. I am really into lighter, more faded styles right now. These are H&M’s shaping jeans, which trim your waist, thighs and butt. How neat is that? I also have been loving stripes. Striped tops are a great staple item to have in your closet because you can pair them with so many different things. I finished the look off with a pair of brown booties, a great knit scarf and a fun beanie. You should check out H&M’s boots right now. Seriously, I was browsing online and pretty much want them all! Hey guys! Have you gone grocery shopping yet?? I have so much to do today…fingers crossed it can all happen! I hope you all have a wondering holiday weekend. I wanted to show you an outfit that was inspired by the fall…obviously! I love these new booties I got from Windsor, they literally go with any outfit. I also was inspired to try layering up my shirts. PS. This outfit was way too warm for these southern California days. It is supposed to be 85 today. Really?? I am so missing the Seattle mist right now! But I do love how this look turned out. I hope you guys love it too!
There is something so classic and simple about this look that I love. Two things…three things I am loving right now: boyfriend jeans, open toe booties, and white t-shirts. You can do so many things with these pieces, they are absolute staples. I’m sure most of you are freezing wherever you live. I am still waiting for that drop in temperature here in southern California. Let’s be real, it will never happen. So if you can’t work the open toe boot, opt for a closed toe shoe instead. And you will most likely have to add in a few more warm pieces like a beanie or scarf. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am ready to get back into the grind this week and get stuff done. Have a great day!
Let’s talk about my love for sweaters. There is nothing more cozy and cute than a slightly oversized cable knit sweater. They really can serve as a great base piece to any outfit. Most look great with a great pair of tall boots, or booties. Leather and suede are my favorite types. You can also add in more knit pieces, like an infinity scarf or a warm beanie. Let me know some of your favorite stores to stock up on sweaters in the comments! I hope you are all having a great week, thanks so much for stopping by! (I also just posted a new video on my YouTube channel!)
