Happy first day of Fall everyone! We had another hot weekend in Seattle. I swear we brought the heat up here with us. However, it actually rained today. I took Kaila on a walk and it looked so beautiful outside. The air was crisp and you could feel the change of season. It is refreshing to actually have a change of season, unlike southern California. I have put together a collection of pieces that are completely fall appropriate. I love busting out my sweaters, boots and berry colored lipsticks. Let me know down below what you are most excited about this Fall. Also, on my channel I talked about my top five must-haves today. Go ahead and make yourself a cup of hot tea and turn on Sleepless in Seattle, just for me!
I have been obsessing over booties. I just got #6 in this collage to wear at fashion week and love them so so much. Get yourself some booties for the fall. They are so versatile which makes them a closet essential! My favorite way to wear them is by dressing them down with boyfriend jeans and a flannel. They also add a great look to dresses. No matter what your style looks like, there are endless options… open/closed toe, thin/chunky or no heel, suede/leather, hardware…you get it! Next time you are shopping, stop by the shoe department and try a pair on. Tweet me a picture too! Who else is SO ready for fall!? Bring on the colder weather! So have fun shopping my top pick below. I tried to include all price points.
I have been into this look lately. The mix of casual and dressy is so perfect. Start out with basics: boyfriend jeans and a tank. Next, add in a blazer and strappy heels to dress up the look. Like always, I am a huge fan of gold jewelry. I have been keeping my necklaces delicate but layered, and adding in a few chunky bracelets. How do you like to wear boyfriend jeans? There are endless ways, which makes them so versatile.
Wedding season is in full swing! I have been busy doing makeup for friends and family and have an awesome post on wedding makeup that will be up next month. As far as fashion goes, what you wear to a wedding is really dependent on each occasion. Some weddings are very laid back, and you can get away with a comfortable summer dress. However, sometimes you need to get slightly more dressed up, even though it is in the summer. Figure out where the wedding is taking place and what time it will be at, then go from there. If you are attending a day time wedding, dress on the casual side. Sunset ceremonies tend to be a little more formal. Make sure to have fun when picking out an outfit. Weddings are such happy occasions so you should feel comfortable in whatever you decide to wear! Here are three ideas on different styles you can go with.
